A digital experiment to try to replicate the feel of traditional nihonga style painting of the Japanese myth, Tamatori-hime. In a nutshell, she steals the Tide Jewel back from the Dragon King of the sea, Ryujin, but sacrifices herself in the process. Upon seeing this, the kami decide to make her the kami of ama divers as a reward for her self-sacrifice and heroism in returning the jewel.
